When you’re invited to a party it’s nice to know who the hosts are. You may not know them personally, when it’s a party as big as this, but it’s nice just to get a little background. So – here’s a short introduction – from left to right.
Johan Winbladh: Creative media intra- & entrepreneur since 1985 and totally dedicated to digital since 1998. Previous at mediaagency, DR, TV2, EBU and innovation consortiums. Currently engaged in some startups, mediainnovation.dk and my MBA class. Always open to new, fun opportunities. Enjoy being a change agent and business developer. Nikolaj Opstrup: Innovation Consultant and Serial entrepreneur. Co-founder of European media monitoring company Infopaq, founder of Danish news agency Newspaq and Danish news service Mediawatch.dk. He and his team won Startup Weekend Academia 2012 with a technology project aimed at helping children suffering from epilepsy. Currently, Nikolaj is running his own Digital Innovation Agency called NO IDEA, while finishing his MBA at DTU Business.
Signe Damgaard Jepsen: I’m a trained journalist, deputy editor in chief and entrepeneur. I have done various innovative media project, for example covering events only via social media. Now I advice companies on how to tell stories through social media.
Ernst Poulsen: Journalist. I have worked within the online news business since 1997 at Politiken, Jyllands-Posten, Copenhagen County and as a commissioning news-editor at the Danish Broadcasting Corp (DR). Co-founded and first chairman of the Danish Online News Association. Currently works as a freelance journalist with specialty in IT/Tech and as a consultant in new media strategy.
Claus Blicher: Passionate innovator within mobile and web. I am founder of AdZuki Mobile and AdScan and work within the executive management group in DR. Also I find pleasure in teaching as an external lecturer at the University of Southern Denmark.
As with any good party, you shouldn’t think too much about who is hosting the party. A good pary is created by the guests – that’s you. And we hope to see as many different people as possible.
In fact we’re very aware, we’ll probably attract a fair amount of participants from the media-business as we hope to see as many media-ideas developed. But journalists can’t do that alone, and that’s why we especially hope you’ll join if you hae a background in design, programming and business.
